Through my training and experience in a variety of settings, I have developed a deep appreciation for the wide range of stressors people face and the profound impact these can have on mental health. I have provided care in clients’ homes, community mental health centers, hospitals, private practice, and through teletherapy. Time and again, I have witnessed the relief that comes when individuals are given a space to feel seen and heard, to challenge unhelpful patterns, and to gain clarity around the issues that cause them distress. Drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and insight-oriented approaches—I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of my clients.
I offer virtual sessions through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Teletherapy has become an increasingly popular choice for its comfort and convenience, and for many, it can be just as effective as in-person therapy.
Rather than adopting a traditional 'patient and expert' dynamic, my goal is to cultivate a collaborative relationship with each client. I offer a warm, straightforward approach with clear, practical guidance. I work with adults throughout the life span, ages 18 and up.
I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology, a masters degree in social work, and am fully licensed to practice independently in the state of New Jersey. I am committed to lifelong learning and actively pursue continuing education in the areas in which I practice.
